POHANG, Republic of Korea (Jan. 18, 2017) Sailors attached to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron FOURTEEN (HM-14) and Republic of Korea Marines attached to the 21st Airborne Battalion, participate in parachute drills in Pohang. HM-14, the "World Famous" Vanguard, maintain a worldwide 72-hour airborne mine countermeasures (AMCM) rapid deployment posture, a two aircraft forward-deployed AMCM and vertical onboard delivery capability in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
