At the Downtown Stores. All of the downtown stores had a much better call for green carnations for St. Patrick's day this year than last. Grimm & Gorly, who are now snugly settled in their new store, have an ex- cellent showing of plants and cut stock. The Mullanphy Florists staged sev- eral* special sales last week, with good results. Fred Foster featured shamrocks in small pots. John Burke, his manager, reports good counter trade. George Berner, Carr & Eichardson, the Acme Flower Shop and the Biessen Floral Co. are all doing their share of the business and expect a record-break- ing Easter business this year. Bowling League Meets. Some good match games were rolled at the meeting of the "Say It with Flowers" Bowling League Wednesday,.
