The Barki, a scaled-down model representing a traditional boat from Bengal (Bangladesh and West Bengal), was meticulously crafted using wood, metal, and cloth. Serving as an all-purpose boat, the Barki utilizes reverse clinker technology. Fishing Barkis tend to be wider compared to cargo Barkis. These entirely nailed boats feature protruding central planks on both the stem and stern. Primarily used in the Chittagong area of Bangladesh, the length of the Barki varies from 20 to 40 Haat.
