When the animalrolled itself up into a ball no spines showed, and the effect wasvery beautiful. It looked more like a big ball of fluffy white silkthan anything else. A while fox and a black fox were shot in the Dead Rivercountry last year. I have also seen a snow white albino ruffedgrouse, and have heard of an albino crow, though I never saw should think such a bird would be a curiosity indeed.
