Soon after returning home in March 1896,Captain Wiggins lectured at Norwich, Harrogate,London, and elsewhere. One of his lectures wasdelivered, very appropriately, before the Anglo-Russian Literary Society, the chief object of theSociety being to promote friendly relations betweenEngland and Russia. Mr Edward A. Cazaletpresided, and the interest of the meeting wasstrengthened by the presence amongst the audienceof several representative Russians and Siberians,some of whom took part in the proceedings.
