Emergency services have been called to a section of the A3057 this evening following a serious collision between a Large goods vehicle and two motorcycles. Police have closed off a section of the A3057 Leckford Lane, Stockbridge just outside the Leckford and Longstock golf course. Emergency services were called to the scene just after 5pm this evening. Stockbridge,Hampshire Wednesday 13th April 2016 Emergency services have been called to a section of the A3057 this evening following a serious collision between a Large goods vehicle and two motorcycles. Police have closed off a section of the A3057 Leckford Lane, Stockbridge just outside the Leckford and Longstock golf course. Emergency services were called to the scene just after 5pm this evening. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance also attended the scene and landed on the 10th hole at the golf course. One man has been detained by Police officers and taken away for questioning. The collision between the flat bed Hi-ab Large good vehicle and two off-road bikes took place just outside the entrance of the clubhouse. Police and paramedics battled to save one of the riders who sadly died at the scene. The road this evening remains closed whilst Police crime and collision scene investigators piece together how the fatal incident happened.©UKNIP
