The exhibit was designed by Adam Woolcott and Jonathan Smith. Local engineer Sid Hutchby from Thorpe played a major role in constructing the frame for the bathing machine which was finished off by Mr Foster. Among the volunteers was Donna Artis from Tendring District Council's (TDC) Horticultural Services.
