London UK 13 August 2017 the Shri Kanagathurkkai Amman Temple in Ealing,West London,celebration of the Chariot festival ,where the deities are parade around the temple in a huge ,ornate and very colourful chariot, which commemorates the legend of the Hindu god of war, Murugan, and his defeat of the demon Soorapadam using a 'divine spear' known as a Vel.
