The garden is adorned with a Statue of Prince Eugene de Beau-harnais (1781-1824), in bronze, by Dumont. The Facade of this vast edifice is about 220 yds. in length. Thethree stories are surmounted with trophies in stone. At the principalentrance are an equestrian figure of Louis XIY. in bas-relief, andstatues of Mars and Minerva, in bronze, all by Coustouthe Younger,In front of the wings are placed four groups in bronze, hy Desjardins,emblematical of four conquered nations. They formerly belonged to Espiaiiade des Irivalides.
