Margaret M. Smith, Principal. Montclair School Montclair School has all the advantages of the little redschool, but none of the disadvantages. With all out-of-doors inwhich to play we have plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and exercise foreveryone. A well-equipped little gymnasium is used by pupils from kinder-garten to eighth grade, inclusive, every day in the winter months. 158 Sixteenth Annual Report. Volley Ball, Montclair School We think our school spirit of fair play developed by the gamesand competitive work, and carried into the preparation of schoolwork, cannot be beaten. The small class gives opportunities formuch individual work, and our pupils have acquitted themselveswell in high school. This June we have had two week-end jaunts to the hills withour seventh and eighth grades. This has done much to relieve thetension of hot weather and has kept our attendance regular. Nell Romick, Principal. Myrtle Hill School Myrtle Hill School is ideally located. It is three blocks fromWashington Park in a residential district where not even a moving-picture house is within walking distance to distract the childsthoughts.
