He died in 1845. Dr. Cyrus Black King, son of Dr. Samuel M. andMaria (Black) King, was bom in Washington , in 1839, the youngest of the twelve children of hisparents. He obtained his classical education in Colum-bia College, Washington, D. C, and as a young man oftwenty years began reading medicine in the office of anolder brother, at Monongahela City.
