Fine art of a slice of kiwi fruit in backlight. The kiwi is an edible berry produced by several species of lianas of the genus Actinidia, family Actinidiaceae. The two main varieties are the green and the yellow. The green, the most common, has a dark brown skin with lint and bright green flesh, small black seeds arranged in a halo around the center of the berry, the shape is similar to an egg or a small potato. The yellow-gold has a more elongated shape, the flesh is yellow and has no lint on the skin. There are other varieties, but they are not very common, such as the kiwi with red flesh and brick skin. This fruit has a sour but tasty and refreshing taste. It's widely used also in pastry making.
