Mario Haberfeld was the 1998 British Formula 3 Champion. This is his first race in F3, for Stewart racing. He would finish this race in 4th place. He struggled in the next stages of his career, He never raced in Formula One but he did test for the Stewart Grand Prix team and also Wiliams. He moved to the USA for 2003 where he spent two years in the Champ Car series.
