A German hand and a half knightly sword,2nd half of the 14th century,Double-edged cutting blade with a shallow fuller on both sides. Straight quillons with a square cross-section with bevelled edges. Broad,slightly tapered tang with a sturoly octagonal pommel and a small top nut,with a crutch cross inlaid in silver on one side,and a coat of arms on the other. Cleaned and conserved condition.
