Airmen assigned to the 148th Fighter Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard and 140th Fighter Wing, Colorado Air National Guard conduct a FOD walk at Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Wisconsin. During FOD walks Airmen pick up loose objects such as small rocks or debris that could potentially cause damage to aircraft. Volk Field is hosting Northern Lightning, a tactical-level joint training exercise featuring 4th and 5th generation assets from the Air National Guard, Air Force, Navy and Marines.
