It soars with great ease high up intothe air almost out of sight, but soon returns to its favourite builds its nest of twigs in tall trees that are quite impossible toclimb. The Macusis call it Watatow. According to Mr. J. J. Quelch (Timehri (2) vi. pp. 120, 12~,128) the food of this bird consists almost entirely of seeds, fruits,and vouncr leaves. Genus FALCO Linn.
