According to German standard, the lower jaw must be neither projecting nor receding, so as to make the teeth meet evenly. Eyes small, round, with sharp expression and deeply set. Ears very snuill, and Greyhound-like in carriage when un- cropped; they are, however, usually cropped. Points, 15. Neck.—Rather long, verj^^trong and muscular, well.
