CAMP SMITH, Hawaii (May 18, 2018) – Republic of the Philippines Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea shakes hands with Pacific Command (PACOM) Foreign Policy Advisor Candy Green. Adm. Harry Harris, PACOM commander, is hosting a Philippine delegation led by Medialdea at PACOM headquarters prior to Harris' change of command ceremony later this month. The delegation included Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alan Cayetano, Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana, Secretary of Interior and Local Government retired Gen. Eduardo Año and Philippine Ambassador to the Jose Romualdez.

The leaders reaffirmed their countries' commitments to their shared interests and to each other, as long-standing friends, partners and allies in the Indo-Pacific region.
