The Copernicus Center in Chicago. The former Gateway Theatre is housed inside the Copernicus Center which is supported by the Copernicus Foundation. The foundation decided to preserve the theater while remodeling around it. The pictured tower is an exact replica of the clock tower on the historic Royal Castle in Warsaw, Poland. Chicago has the second largest Polish population in the world, after only Warsaw. The Copernicus Center is located in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood on the city's Northwest Side.
