An early (circa 1940's) colour illustration of Emperor Akbar being entertained by his foster-brother at Dipalpur, Punjab, India in 1571 - Abu'l-Fath Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar also known as Akbar I, Akbar the 1st, Akbar the Great, ابو الفتح جلال الدين محمد اكبر. He was the third Mughal emperor, who reigned from 1556 to 1605. His Empress consort was Ruqaiya Sultan Begum.
