Christopher Biggs launches an E-2C Hawkeye aircraft assigned to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 124 from a bow catapult on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) while underway in the Gulf of Oman on Oct. 18, 2008. The Theodore Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing 8 are on a scheduled deployment.
