Since this algae starts near the ditches, it is well to give these areas special atten- tion. A word of caution is neces- sary, since copper sulfate is harmful to fish life. It is sug- gested that a reasonable period of time should elapse before drain- ing off" the winter flood into any fish pond or stream after treating for scum. New Charts The Cranberry Insect, Disease and Weed Control Charts have been revised and are now being printed. A now Fertilizer Chart has been prepared and will be is- sued for the first time this spring. It should be considered as a guide or tool and should be used only with judgment.
