The home of the famous Danish polar explorer and anthropologist, Knud Rasmussen, on the moraine cliff Spodsbjerg at Hundested, North Sealand, Denmark

The home of the famous Danish polar explorer and anthropologist, Knud Rasmussen at Hundested, Zealand, Denmark. (Knud Johan Victor Rasmussen (June 7, 1879 – December 21, 1933). The house is now a museum of arctic exploration and the explorer's life and addiction to wild nature even at his home in Southern Denmark. Situated high on the 30m tall moraine cliff, Spodsbjerg, there is a fantastic view over the Kattegat Sea from the house. On a clear day the island Hesselø 26km away can be seen. From this angle you look towards west at the opposite coast of the the mouth of the Isefjord, where Rørvig is situated. Furthest to the right the Kattegat Sea and the northern way out of the inner Danish waters.
