Col. Tom Palenske, commander of the 1st Special Operations Wing, briefs Air Commando spouses before a Spouses Flight tour at Hurlburt Field, Fla., Nov. 19, 2016. Spouses had the opportunity to fly in different 1st SOW aircraft including the AC-130J Ghostrider, CV-22 Osprey, AC-130U Spooky and U-28A. The event is designed to give spouses a better understanding of the importance of the 1st SOW mission.
