This artwork is based on observations made by the NuSTAR (Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array) space telescope and a fast camera called ULTRACAM on the William Herschel Observatory. This has allowed measurements of the acceleration zone of the particle jet (wavy area at centre left). Artwork published in 2017.
