A suggested method of treating 100-foot streets which contain narrow sidewalks withbroad roadways and which are not provided with car hnes. By a sHght reduction in the roadway width the sidewalks may be widened from 20 to25 feet. Trees of tall, narrow form should bs used to prevent cutting off the supply oflight and air from the lower stories of the houses.
