Day of Prayer The day of Prayer for Educational Institutions isobserved each year with appropriate exercises. Thespeaker for this occasion on February 25, 1920, will bethe Rev. E. C. McCown, of Mt. Lebanon, Pittsburgh. The Denominational Seminary Young men looking toward the ministry appreciatetoo little the advantages of attending the Seminaries oftheir own denomination, and are sometimes diverted to 6o. The Pittsburgh Theological Seminary those of other denominations by the slightly largerfinancial assistance which some of these institutions sopersistently urge upon them. For United Presbyterianstudents to attend the Seminary of another denomi-nation is to form their acquaintanceships and friend-ships among the young men of that denomination, andenter the ministry of the United Presbyterian Church,if they ever enter it, strangers to its ministers withwhom they are to wrork. It is to become acquainted withthe congregations of that other denomination and igno-rant of their own. It is to be known by them andunknown to their own when the period arrives for settle-ment.
