The features which arc being added to the park at Olcott con-sist of a very handsome depot erected at a cost of about $6,000,an outdoor theater, a casino containing amusement hall and rcs-. All the buildings of the park will be lightedwith electricity, and the appointments of the hotel will be equalin every respect with those of summer resorts of the first hotel and restaurant privileges have been leased to experi-enced parties, who will provide a service equal to that of the besthotels in the large cities. Good bathing facilities along the parkfront will be secured by the use of concrete jetties, the bed of thelake at this point being of rock. The jetties are made use ofto cause a sand bed to be formed along the park front. Otherimprovements at Olcott embrace the rebuilding of the presentpiers for about a quarter of a mile along the shores of EighteenMile Creek, just within the government piers.
