Crook, a most estimable lady, and adaughter of Sylvan us Crook, one of the well-knownpioneers and substantial farmers of La SalleCounty, where he located in 1837. By this unionwere born four children: William C, who is nowattending Paxton College; Harry A., Rali>li andEthel. Mrs Pool is a member of the PresbyterianChurch of Clarence and although not a member,Mr. Pool contributes liberally to its support andalso gives freely of his means to charitable andbenevolent enterprises. The cause of educationfinds in him a warm friend and his support isnever withheld from any interest calculated topromote the general welfare.
