'Overlord’ from Chatham Dockyard Railway guests at the 1940s weekend & Salute To Shunters gala at Avon Valley Railway. This was the first time 70042 Overlord has been paired with sister 70043 Grumpy in over 70 years. Also in action was FRY’S SENTINEL NO. 7492 and NCB ‘Wimblebury’ on loan from Foxfield Railway. Seem here triple heading at the Riverside station shortly before Overlord failed, and was therefore not available for the Sunday.
