British Airways Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet G-BYGC landing at Heathrow in heavy rain having flown from Dublin where it had been painted by IAC into retro British Overseas Airways Corporation colours to celebrate the 100th anniversary of BA. BOAC and British European Airways merged in 1974 to form British Airways, which traces its history back through the mergers to AT&T of 1919. The 747 will be used on scheduled services until it retires in 2023 as 747s are phased out
