Hyperloop transport. Artwork of a planned high-speed transportation system known as the Hyperloop. Passengers are transported in pressurised capsules that ride on a cushion of air in tubes with reduced air pressure. It is a form of vacuum tube train. It is thought that speeds of up to 1220 kilometres per hour could be attained. The initial design, by entrepreneur Elon Musk, was announced in August 2013 and is intended to run from Los Angeles to San Francisco in California, USA. Further plans were announced in 2017 to develop a hyperloop line between Seoul and Busan in South Korea.
