President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda seen during his visit to Ukraine Andrzej Sebastian Duda is a Polish lawyer and politician who has served as President of Poland since 2015. Prior to assuming the presidency, he was elected to the Sejm from 2011 to 2014 and European Parliament from 2014 until 2015. As the Russia-Ukraine war continues for over a month, Polish President Andrzej Duda has asserted that the Ukrainian armed forces need only weapons and more weapons for defending their nation. He stated that criminals need to be called "criminals" and they must be brought to justice.
