A late 19th century view of Alnwick Castle, one of the homes of the Duke of Northumberland above the River Aln from the Lion Bridge. Named after the Percy Lion of cast lead sculpted by John Knowles, the river crossing was built by John Adam and is an early example of Gothic Revival style, Northumberland, England.
