As the bird tried to attach to the python, this resulted in a shot comparable to a kiss. BEKSAI, INDONESIA: DISTURBING images showed the moment a daring four-inch bird leant in for a kiss with a THIRTY-NINE-INCH snake before being swallowed one image, the sneaky retic python snake was photographed as it touched noses with the four-inch Javan munia bird which made it look like the two were sharing an intimate kiss. In another image, the true desires of the python were revealed as it captured the bird by its head and neck, digging in its sharp fangs and injecting poisonous venom into the bird - killing it within less than one second for its dinner. These disturbing images were shot by photographer Dzul Dzulfikri (48) from Beksai, Indonesia, who captured the heart-breaking feed in his back garden from just 19-inches away. The reticulated python - a pet of Dzul?s friend - swallowed the Javan munia bird whole within five minutes. Dzul used a Canon 7D MK II camera and 100m macro L series lens and shared these images on his Instagram, The retic python - malayopython reticulatus - is a species native to South and Southeast Asia and is one of the world?s longest snakes. The Javan munia bird - lonchura leucogastroides - is a species found in Southern Sumatra, Java, Bali and Lombok in Indonesia. / @dzulfikri72
