Ceftaroline antibiotic drug, molecular model
Ceftaroline drug molecule. Ball-and-stick molecular model of ceftaroline, an advanced generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of Gram-positive and methicillin-resistant bacteria, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Its chemical formula is C22H21N8O8PS4. Atoms are represented as spheres with conventional colour coding: hydrogen (white), carbon (black), oxygen (red), nitrogen (blue), sulphur (yellow), and phosphorus (green).
