The pair of small open star clusters in northern Orion: NGC 2194 at lower left, a rich cluster; and NGC 2169 at upper right, a loose cluster but with stars arranged in two groups making it look like a number 37 or an XY letter pair. The small red nebula at left above NGC 2194 is Sharpless 2-269. This was taken on a night with high haze and cloud, adding the natural star glows for a photogenic effect. This is a stack of 7 x 4-minute exposures with the Astro-Tech 90CFT refractor with its Reducer for and the modified Canon EOS R camera at ISO 800. Taken from home November 16, 2023.
