Navia, a native of Parkville, Maryland, is the company commander of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, which is forward-deployed to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force as part of the unit deployment program.
