Portsmouth,Hampshire Wednesday 10th February 2016 We stand shoulder to shoulder in solidarity that's the Clear message from doctors on the striking Picket lines this morning in Portsmouth. Just after 8am Doctors at the City’s QA Hospital walked out. Many of the doctors say they are being forced to strike for a safe and fair contract and for the NHS! That is the message from the well attended Picket Line at the QA Hospital this morning. Around 50 Junior Doctors from the QA Hospital in Portsmouth are taking part in Industrial Action following the breakdown of negotiations between the Government and the British Medical Association. Standing outside the hospital’s main entrance waving placards and singing songs of protest many visitors to the hospital where very supportive towards the cause. About 40 operations at QA have had to be cancelled because of the strike. This is the second walk out by health workers around the country in a show of we need to stand up and strike The strike is even more important as it falls within the TUC week of action against the Trade Union Bill Feb 8-©UKNIP
