Melicharseems quite correctly to have ideutitied the P. apicalis, Motsch., asthe female form, and that name takes precedence, and eliminatingthe Selenocephalus cincticeps, Uhler (Japan), from his synonymy Iam in agreement with his recognition of the species, which is alsothe view of Matsumura and Kirby.
