Sow the seed early in the spring, in well-manured and deeply-dug ground, 1 inch deep, and the rows 2 feet apart; thin "out to stand 6 inches in the rows ; before winter cover with litter or leaves, and the next spring transplant in hills 3 feet apart each way. A supply may be had all winter by planting the roots closely together in a warm cellar before frost. Dwarf Curled German.
