The small number of seed jars in the collection precludes any extensive consideration of the styles of decoration on that shaped vessel. The whole specimens and the fragments indicate, however, that much the same series of patterns appeared on them as on can- teens and pitchers. On the globular vessels the ornamentation was usually in the form of a band on the upper half, the lower portion remaining undecorated.
