XIII; Dr. Guest places it in France, possibly in Paris, ca. 1250s. Note in dossier says main illumination is French, while calendar feasts and binding are Dutch or German. De Ricci, 1326. On f. 13, Secunda tabula principalis Garlandi dicitur. Parchment Rhyme at the end of the Conpotus begins, M. christi bis c. quarto deno quartus anno/ De sacro buscho discrevit tempora ramus . . . (incorporating the date 1244). Several other verses added in a noting hand at the end of the Cautele text. On f. 141, an astronomical figure of the circles of the sphere. Note in German on this leaf?
