Army Sgt. Maj. Michael Grinston , Sergeant Major of the Army and more than 20 organizations come together at the Marines Memorial Club in San Francisco, Calif., on May 29. Some of the event participants include Mark Benton, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, Ikram Mansori, commissioner for the San Francisco Veterans Affairs, Gold Star Families, San Francisco Police Department, and more. During the "Bridging the Gap" event, the various leaders spoke on the collaborative effort in connecting veteran resources to improve the assistance to all service members in the Bay Area.
