Walker nearing the summit of Ben Lomond in winter. Ben Lomond is the most southerly Munro and at 974 m (3195 ft) it towers over the eastern shores of Loch Lomond. It lies within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and its name translates to 'Beacon Hill'.
