'Upper Part of Mantelpiece in the Style of Daniel Marot', 18th century, (1910) Daniel Marot (1661-1752) was a French Protestant, architect, furniture designer and engraver at the forefront of the classicizing Late Baroque Louis XIV style. Room paneling & mantlepiece designed late 17th, early 18th century, of unpainted pine, with inset neo-classical oil on canvas painting depicting five women in a countryside with flowers.
