The flowers aouilegia Helens are of exceptionally large size and beautiful form, of a pretty blue, with wide, expanded pure white corolla; a perfect gem per doz. 5 cts. each ; ARABIS AEBIDA FOEIA VARIEGATA. A pretty variegated form of the Rock-cress. It has large foliage of a glaucnus- green color, irregularly and boldly edged and variegated with creamy-yellow. The flowers are white, the same as in the type. 25 cts. each ; $ per doz. HARDY ASTER, SUB-CCERUEEITS. Scores of new hardy Asters have been introduced during the past 3 years, but few of them, when tried, possessed sufficient merit to warrant us in offering them. In this variety, however, we have one that is distinct in habit, flower and lime of bloom- ing to make it a desirable addition. The habit is quite distinct, forming a dense luft of long green leaves, from which issue many leafless stems about 12 inches high, bearing, during Tune and Jul)', when few varieties are in flower, massive flowers .3 inches in diameter, of a pleasing shade of bluish-violet, with golden centre. 25 cts. each ; $ per doz.
