Randstad, a uranium mine. The extraction left behind an open pit. When dewatering was canceled so converted quarry into a lake, Tranebarssjon. At Ranstad Industry were recovered between 1965 and 1969 uranium from alum shale which was designed for the Swedish nuclear program.
