CORAL SEA (July 13, 2017)A CH-53E Super Stallion, assigned to the “Dragons” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced), transports ordnance pallets from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) as part of a large-scale amphibious assault during Talisman Saber 17. Bonhomme Richard, serving in a combined Zealand amphibious force, executed ship-to-shore movements of MEU forces and equipment in order to enable the MEU to complete mission objectives.
