Army 1st Lt. Quentin Duenas, an engineer with 411th Engineer Battalion, assists Thai nationals with blessing the first pillar during the pillar-raising ceremony at Ban Ta Kham Rai Due Samakkee, Chaiyaphum Province, Jan. 30, 2017, in support of Cobra Gold 17. Duenas, a Guam native, is the officer in charge at the site. Army Soldiers are working alongside the Royal Thai Army and the Indonesian Army to build a multi-purpose room for the school. CG17 is a co-sponsored exercise that represents the longstanding friendship between the Thai and American people.
